In the third of a series of videos, National President Stuart Reddish addresses the facts and “dispel some myths” of the news industry.

Speaking from his store in Sheffield, Mr Reddish insisted that  “enough is enough” and “we have your backs” in a new stand against margin cuts.

As well as making his message on the ills of the news industry clear, Mr Reddish highlighted the positives, such as how members have shared over £20,000 for as little as 403 Telegraph subscriptions so far, how retailers can share a part of the Mail’s growth by becoming its newsagent of the month, and how a proven 5 per cent has been cut from Newspro members’ overall bill.

Mr Reddish promised a full debate on the news industry at the August national council meeting.
