NFRN has accused the UK government of failing victims of retail crime
The Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) has made an impassioned plea to Prime Minister Boris Johnson to tackle the increasing number of physical and verbal attacks on shop workers.
Members and their staff who have been the victims of violence and abuse at work have until Friday January 22 to respond to a survey as part of a government inquiry into the subject.
As of 1 January 2021, the national minimum wage in the Republic of Ireland now stands at €10.20 per hour for experienced adults.
An increase in the national minimum wage will have a negative impact on members who are already struggling to survive during the COVID pandemic.
