Our members in Scotland are reminded that although their local bank branch may be closed for the bank holiday on 4 January that the banking system is still operational. This means that direct debits or other payments that fall due that day will be collected as normal.
Members who may have had limited opportunity to pay money into the account need to ensure that they have sufficient funds in the account to cover any payments due.
