Two former Abingdon members have launched a fund raising appeal to help frontline NHS staff at nearby John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and are looking for your help!
Husband and wife team Gary and Diana Nixon initially set out to raise £500 for the nurses and doctors at the frontline at the hospital but to date they have collected nearer £1,650. The money is used to purchase tasty treats, including chocolate bars, protein bars and bottled water from Booker in Oxford.
The couple, who used to own the Busy Bee in Abingdon, have now put out an appeal to see if local members could assist by donating boxes of product.
