HMRC are working with De La Rue to prepare for the end of the Brexit transition period and the changes that will impact tobacco manufacturers and distributers from the 1st January 2021.
The changes will be invisible for stores that only sell to retail customers. Your economic operator Ids will remain unchanged.
However, as part of the process HMRC are asking retailers to log on the ID issuer website – DLR ID Issuer (delarue.com) – to check that there address details are correct.
This should be done as soon as possible.
