Peter Steemers was sent the text below and, after checking, he has confirmed it is a scam.

If you received a similar text or email please do NOT open the link, as it could result in your device being hacked.

If you get sent a scam message, it’s important you report it so others don’t fall victim.

You can report spam texts directly to your mobile phone provider free of charge by forwarding the message to 7726.
