During its recent council meeting, the East Midlands district gave its thanks to Stuart McClymont, who recently stepped down from his position as district councillor and national councillor.

Mr McClymont of MACS in Mansfield held his position as district councillor from 2011-2013 and 2018- 2020, before stepping down due to time constraints after getting a new job in the government. He will still remain a member of the Federation.

Speaking of his departure, East Midlands district president Sunil Patel said: “Stuart was a great district councillor and always knew what he was talking about – he has tremendous knowledge of the industry.

“He helped many members that asked for it and we wish him all the best for the future.”

NFRN membership services manager Bernard Ridgewell added: “We are very grateful for Stuart’s hard work during his time as district councillor.

“The Federation and its East Midlands district wish him well.”

National President Stuart Reddish also thanked Stuart for his time and commitment to national council.  He said: “Stuart always participated actively in these meetings and will be sorely missed.”
