Apply for funding if you have great ideas to enhance your community! People’s Health Trust has alerted the Fed about funding opportunities for projects in Wales. Spread the news to your customers and contribute to the betterment of your community.
The Active Communities funding programme is now open in parts of Wales including Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Cardiff, and more! You can apply here.
The programme is for community groups and not-for-profit organisations, with an income of less than £350,000 a year or an average of £350,000 over two years.
The application window for Wales closes on Wednesday 7 June at 1pm.
Through the Active Communities programme, you can secure funding ranging from £5,000 to £40,000 for projects that span up to two years.
The People’s Health Trust seeks small, locally-driven projects that are led by the community themselves.
They are particularly interested in receiving proposals from groups of individuals who share similar interests and are committed to addressing important issues. These ideas may focus on a single neighborhood or cover a wider area, as long as participants can regularly meet up and live in close proximity to each other.
The organisation places special emphasis on projects that respond to the cost of living crisis and rising mental health needs. The Trust may prioritise projects that include cost of living considerations and/or support mental health.
Please note that the programme operates on different schedules in different areas throughout the year. Eligibility for applying may be restricted to certain neighborhoods to ensure equitable distribution of funds.
Complete a two stage application process that begins with an online form. There’s step by step guidance to help you along the way but if you need any support, call the Trust on 020 4548 0939. Find out more
