Hundreds of members of the Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) are discovering they can slash thousands of pounds off their essential business bills by taking advantage of a new deal with Bionic.

To date the Federation’s call centre, NFRN Connect, has generated over 250 leads from cash conscious retailers.

Established for 12 years and having helped over 200,000 businesses, Bionic’s tech-enabled experts research the best energy, insurance, broadband or loan providers and deals – in minutes.

Kandiah Sanganithey of Lammiman’s Ltd in Mablethorpe is set to save £700 a year by switching to Bionic – that’s £2,100 over a three year plan.

He said: “I found out about Bionic through the NFRN’s website. Although I haven’t switched over to Bionic yet, due to my current contract, I am very happy with the proposed savings.”

Colin Powles of Lyndon News in Chippenham is another member all set to make substantial savings with Bionic.  He explained: “My original energy supplier was charging £92 and Bionic estimated a quote for £60. My telephone broadband was £280 per quarter and Bionic has quoted £50 a month, which is fantastic!

“I am so pleased with my predicted savings and would recommend Bionic to other NFRN members – the team is fantastic, very helpful and easy to understand.”

Ollie Lydon, Business Development and Partnerships Manager at Bionic, commented: “At Bionic, our mission is to help make small British businesses successful and so we look to work with other organisations that share that mission. NFRN do amazing work to support independent SMEs and we felt we could bring another useful service to their offering, so it was a natural fit. It’s never been more important to help business owners keep their costs in check, to save them precious time and to support them generally in any way we can.

“NFRN members can get priority access to Bionic’s switching service for their energy, insurance or broadband. That means the best prices from a huge panel of suppliers, a no hassle switching experience and outstanding service from our tech-enabled experts.”

Praising the Federation for its 250 leads to date, Mr Lydon said: “We’re thrilled, it’s great to see our joint efforts to reach more small British businesses are paying off, it means we’re helping more of them save time and money at a really crucial moment.

“Don’t just take our word for it, we’ve got over 1600+ reviews on Trustpilot and we’re rated 4.5 stars out of 5. We’re always working hard to improve the service we offer, to take the faff out of switching and dealing with essentials so that our customers can spend more time investing in their business.”

NFRN National President Stuart Reddish said: “Getting the best possible tariff for business essentials is a must for independent retailers. Switching providers can lead to some huge savings on your business essentials and Bionic’s team will certainly find the best discounts for your business.”
