2 lucky members will get to win an electrifying £1,000 each in September, October and November. December will be a bonanza month, with 5 cash prizes totalling a sensational £10,000 to be won! This includes 3 £1,000 cash prizes, one £2,000 cash prize and a grand prize of £5,000. Any member could be picked as a Fed Jackpot winner!
All eligible members are automatically entered into the prize draws. The winners are picked randomly by computer. It definitely pays to be a member!
The lucky winners were John Parker of Parker’s News Wakefield and Rory O’Conchubhair from Ireland. Mr Parker stated: “I have been with The Fed since 2008 after I took over the business when my father passed away. Kevin Claydon from Andreas Store on the Isle of Man and Jeffrey Kelly of Kelly’s News, Liverpool were the October winners of the Jackpot. Mr Kelly provided this quote: “I am totally made up and surprised that I have won this. I am glad I am still in membership and have been a member since 1998. Thank you for this surprise”. Furthermore, Mr Claydon stated: “Thank you for this opportunity. I have been a member since 1988, and it is something I will never regret doing. Thank you again.”
The two winners of the November edition of the Jackpot were Gerard Mulhall and Pritesh Patel. Pritesh provided is with this quote: “I am so happy that the NRFN (the Fed) helps save money all year, and also has given me an early Christmas present”
During the December Bonanza, members had the chance of winning a share of £10,000, split into 3x£1000 1x£2000 and 1x£5000 prizes!

Finally, taking home the colossal prize of £5,000 was Mr Jayanath Bopearachchi of Jiselta Convenience Store in Chorley!
The prizes are funded by surplus income which the Business Development team generated in 2022. To be eligible for the prize draw, members must be fee-paying members with no arrears in their account and have not submitted a notification for withdrawal of membership. All eligible members are entered automatically into the prize draw. Winners are drawn randomly by computer on the last working day of each month in the head office at Bede House. All decisions are final and binding.
