Showing no sign of slowing down his good deeds, Tahir Ali, who runs Scots Estate Premier Top Shop, has done a cracking job at delivering Easter eggs to members of his local community.

While Tahir’s main Easter initiative will take place in April, when he plans to give away 500 Easter eggs, he has already delivered around 20 to nearby residents.

He said: “I also did this last year, but this time I am going to give way more.

“I am doing it because of lockdown: to bring the community together and lift everyone’s spirits.

“The response has been brilliant – people can’t thank me enough.”

The main Easter egg event, which will take place on Saturday April 3rd at 11am at Tahir’s shop, will be for children and vulnerable people within the area.

Tahir added: “No one is going to get left out; I aim to give away around 500 Easter eggs.”

If any Easter eggs are left over on April 3rd, they will be donated to local hospital wards and care homes.
