National President Stuart Reddish was a member of the judging panel that today (July 1) selected the winner and runners-up in the Daily Express Newsangels awards.
Representing the NFRN, Stuart was joined on the judging panel by Gary Jones, editor in chief of the Daily Express; Nigel Railton, CEO of Camelot, and actor Jimmi Harkishin, who plays shop owner Dev Alahan in ITV’s Coronation Street.
The awards recognise newsagents who have gone over and above for their customers and communities during the coronavirus pandemic.
The overall winner will receive a £5,000 cash prize, while 10 runners-up will each collect £1,000. The winners will be announced in due course.
