With the launch of the £100 voucher scheme for shoppers in Northern Ireland fast approaching, the NFRN has produced an explanatory leaflet for you to hand out to customers and a poster to display in-store.

To receive a pre-paid card, people must register online on NI Direct. They will be presented with an information page on the scheme and a button to launch the registration process.

It is currently hoped that the application portal will be launched in mid-September, with the first tranche of cards to roll out mid-September and a further four tranches expected after.

A telephone service is anticipated to launch later in September, with both the portal and telephone service expected to close in mid-October.

It is planned that everyone will have a minimum of six weeks to use the cards, with the scheme expected to close to any further payments by the card at the end of November.
