The government has this afternoon published its roadmap to lifting coronavirus restrictions in 2021.
As expected, on March 8 schools and colleges will open for all students. Rules on socialising in a public space will be relaxed, allowing one person to sit down with another individual from outside their household or bubble for a coffee or drink.
From March 29 outdoor gatherings will be allowed for up to six people or two households. Outdoor sports facilities will reopen.
From April 12 all non essential retailers will be able to reopen.
The roadmap can be downloaded below.
