NFRN member Trudy Davies of Woosnam & Davies News in Llanidloes has donated free refill water bottles to Llanidloes Football Club.

This was initially planned to be presented to the youth teams earlier this year in March, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak it had to be postponed.

Last year Woosnam & Davies News won the IAA Retail Innovation Award 2019, to celebrate this win Mrs Davies wanted to give back to her local community as thanks for their support during 2019.

The spokesman of the youth club sent a message of thanks, saying:

“Hi Trudy, thanks ever so much for the bottles and sweets. I have shared them out amongst our squads

“Here are some photos I took of my Under 14 girls gratefully receiving the bottles & sweets. Thanks.”

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus outbreak the team have had all training cancelled from Friday. They can look forward to using their new bottles in the near future!
