Government ministers and health experts have expressed concerns that people are not sticking to the rules as much as in the first lockdown, and that this is contributing to the sharp increase in the number of coronavirus cases.

Reports suggest the NHS is in real danger of being overwhelmed, and retailers are being asked to remind shoppers to follow the guidelines to help curb the spread of the virus.
