We are saddened to report the death of Federation stalwart Roy Turnbull.

In his long association with the organisation, he held positions at branch, district and national level.

Roy was National President in 1996/97 and his name was added to both the national and Yorkshire district Roll of Honour.   He was a past Hull branch president and served as Yorkshire district president in 1986.  Roy also sat on the Federation’s national executive committee (NEC) and national council and on the Standing Orders Committee.

Our thoughts are with Roy’s family and friends at this very sad time.

We will share details of his funeral in due course.
