Today, there has been a fire on the industrial estate where Smiths News Lancing operates meaning access to the Smiths site is blocked and they will not be able to get access for distribution this evening.

To ensure stores still receive papers and magazines in the morning, Smiths news have re-directed all their supplies and delivery vehicles to Crawley.

However, some supplements for Saturday and Sunday which were already in the Lancing site, Smiths will not be able to retrieve and therefore they will work with publishers to understand availability of replacements.

Any updates will be shared on this and in the morning retailers will receive a letter explaining the possible shortage of supplements.
