The Met Office has issued warnings for snow and ice in place across many parts of the United Kingdom this week.

The Federation of Independent Retailers (the Fed) has received an update from Smiths News:

Due to adverse weather conditions this morning, and snow/long delays affecting many vehicles departing the depots, we have the following distribution update to share with you:

Depot Distribution Update
Bristol due to diverse weather conditions all routes running 20 minutes
Crawley Following customers delayed by approx. 2 / 3 hours due to adverse weather/road conditions
Croydon all route approx. 45 mins late due to severe weather.
ROUND 064 VEHICLE STUCK DUE TO SNOW UNABLE TO MOVE
Exeter all runs approx. 30 mins late away
Newport All routes are potentially up to 1-2 hours behind schedule due to adverse weather
Taunton All routes have departed on with a delay of 15 minutes and expecting delays due to bad weather conditions
Yeovil all runs possibly delayed due to adverse weather conditions
