When it comes to energy drinks, Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) and the Monster Energy Co. mean business this year, expanding its Monster range with three new variants, alongside the launch of an exciting new retailer support platform, to build on their record year in 2020.

Now worth a staggering £667m to the convenience channel[1], energy is the No.1 segment within soft drinks and Monster is the driving force behind that growth, up nearly 20%[2].

As the fastest-growing energy drinks brand in GB, Monster is now worth £287m[3], delivered by:

  • Monster Core – including Monster Green, the third biggest soft drinks SKU in symbols and independents in GB[4], alongside the newest addition to the family and GB’s first ginger-flavoured energy drink, Monster Mule
  • Monster Juiced – worth a whopping £92m[5] and growing by 44%[6] thanks to its knockout flavours, now featuring butterfly-inspired, peach and nectarine-flavoured Monster Juiced Monarch
  • Monster Ultra – the number one zero sugar energy range in GB, worth almost £76m[7] and now featuring juicy mango-flavoured Ultra Fiesta

To help retailers give their energy fixture some extra muscle power, Monster has also launched ‘Sales Supercharged’, a retailer support initiative that provides the low-down on the latest trends in energy, the segments that are leading the way, and tips on ranging and how to bring the category to life in-store. There’s free stuff up for grabs, too.
