The Fed is delighted to announce we have today (2nd December) recruited 1000 new members this year, ahead of the end-of-year target!

With special thanks to our Field Operations Team and in-house Contact Centre, the Fed has spoken to independent retailers across the UK and Ireland encouraging sign-ups and staying in regular contact with existing members. In difficult economic times, the Fed is proud to help independent retailers save money, make money, and make business easier.

The Fed Contact Centre based in Bede House, Durham, has handled more than 75,000 inbound calls and raised 2,300 restitution claims with £35,000 paid back to members, whilst working on ‘Operation 1000’. Andrew Williamson, Contact Centre Manager said: “We have a strong, settled, and committed team and I am very proud of the work we have done in 2022. We won’t stop here, and are looking forward to what 2023 brings.”

A determined Field Operations team hit the ground running to complete Operation 1000, with each member covering a section of the UK & Ireland to recruit independent retailers, attend retail and wholesaler events, plus visit existing Fed members.

Phil Jaggard, Head of Field Operations at the Fed has said: “I’m very proud of the determination and work ethic of the full Fed Team. It is great to reach this milestone before the end of 2022, and the team is already working towards new targets to help more independent retailers across the UK and Ireland.”

2022 has been a successful year for the Fed, but the year isn’t over yet! We are working hard behind the scenes to bring members great deals and continue to deliver great news. What will 2023 bring?
