Warhammer 40,000: Warriors of the Emperor Sticker Collection
A mighty collection of 204 stickers and 50 Hero Cards, with a buildable box and a double-sided pull-out Space Marines Armoury poster which allows collectors to delve into the 41st Millennium where, driven by war and assaulted by the foul forces of Chaos… Xenos, Daemon and Traitors emerge from the darkness to prey upon the Imperium.

The launch is being supported with a widespread album sampling campaign across mass-market retail and targeting core Warhammer fans with activations across Warhammer World, Warhammer stores and the Warhammer Escape Room. There is heavy investment in a digital marketing campaign and across key social channels. Panini UK have secured broad distribution across key grocers, e-commerce, toy and newstrade retailers with in store point of sale to support the launch. Impactful FSDU placement has been secured in key Grocers such as Co-Op, Sainsbury’s and Asda and listings in key toy retailers such as Smyths and Toy Master.
Sport
Panini UK is the No 1 collectable publisher in football trading cards and stickers, with established worldwide partnerships with The Premier League, UEFA, FIFA and The FA. Panini acquired the Premier League license for the 2019/2020 season, and has since delivered unprecedented levels of RSV across the official trading cards and sticker collection. In particular, the Official Premier League Football 2020 sticker collection was able to deliver a ten-fold year on year increase in sales, setting the scene for the 2020/21 season to be bigger and better than ever!
Panini will also publish the Official Tour De France sticker collection in 2020 for the first time in the UK, in addition to NFL and NBA sticker collections.
Entertainment
Entertainment collections are at the core of the Panini business, whether it be supporting the latest Disney or Marvel films, such as the ever popular Frozen 2, through to the hottest toy or gaming licenses from LOL! Surprise and Fortnite, or the perennial preschool properties of Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol. Each collection is both editorially rich and unique in its make-up, creating a special collecting experience for both children and parents. New for 2020 is the Frozen 2 Crystal Sticker Collection, which comes complete with a pull-out play stage, and an array of special foil and holographic stickers. In addition, both a trading card and sticker collection will launch to support the hugely popular Fortnite game.

Collectables are an integral part of the news and magazine offering, with all stock available on a sale or return basis, even on opened CDU’s. Both Menzies and Smiths News offer extended credit, with Smiths News recently extending this to a six week period, so retailers are able to trial new collections prior to payment. The UEFA Euro 2020™ tournament, initially scheduled for this summer, is one of those sporting events being postponed. Encouraged by many regular collectors from numerous parts of the globe, Panini have not abandoned their plans completely. Of course, Panini will look forward to developing a collectable program around the UEFA Euro 2020™ next summer when they will be restaged, but meanwhile have developed a special Preview Sticker Album to keep sticker enthusiasts occupied!
