Face masks to better protect independent store owners, their employees and customers from Covid-19, are now available for members to purchase through national buying group Savewell.
The 3 ply disposable face masks help to stop the spread of the coronavirus – and other diseases – by preventing the transmission of liquid particles.
The cost price of each mask is 50p which includes a 5 per cent donation to the NHS.
All masks are sealed into a bag of 50 masks and packed into an inner box. The minimum carriage paid order is 150 masks, which is three boxes.
All masks are non-latex, fully CE compliant, FFP2 standard and tested to EN 149:2001 and A1:2009 standard.
The first delivery for the masks is due around May 14.
Adam Corkhill, IT and Marketing Administrator at Savewell, said: “These masks help to stop the spread of Covid-19 by preventing the transmission of liquid particles.
“The masks are disposable and should only be used once.
“All customers get free delivery when they purchase the required three boxes.
“If anyone has any queries or wants to buy some masks, just give us a call!”
Stuart Reddish, National President, said: “Independent store owners and employees continue to risk their lives each day to ensure that everyone can still buy their essentials.
“These masks are high-grade and help to better protect everyone from Covid-19.”
