Over 1 million more players will win a cash prize in every Lotto rolldown*!

From Saturday 7th November, whenever there is a Must Be Won Rolldown, players matching just 2 main numbers will also win a share of the jackpot, a £5 cash prize in addition to the usual free Lucky Dip!

Plus all other cash prize winners can expect to receive a boost to their prizes.**

This will benefit retailers as:

  • Players will often spend their winnings in store
  • More winners will drive play and frequency of visits to store
  • The positivity of a win will encourage player loyalty and repeat purchases

As support for the launch, on Saturday 7th November, there will be a massive £20M Lotto Must Be Won event. New POS for this will be landing in stores to be sited from the 26th October.

Maximise your Lotto sales:

  • Display the new POS
  • Tell customers of the £20M Lotto Must Be Won Event on the 7th November
  • Offer customers a ticket at the till
  • Tell customers that from Saturday 7th November if the jackpot rolls down, by matching just 2 main numbers, they will win £5 plus a lucky dip

*On average 1.2m winners of Match 2 to Match 5 plus the Bonus Ball tiers in Lotto Must Be Won draws between Nov 18 and July 20
**The Rolldown mechanic and allocations for each prize tier will be set out in the amended Game Procedures.
