The National Lottery have reached their biggest ever EuroMillions Jackpot of £175M for the draw on Friday 4th December.
National Lottery retailers could see up to an 81% sales uplift.
If one UK player takes home the entire sum, they will set a new National Lottery record becoming the biggest ever winner.
The rolled over sum is being supported by a flurry of media activity, including TV, radio and print advertising. Also, special ‘Over £170 million’ posters are being rushed out to over 20,000 National Lottery retailers to be sited immediately.
Camelot’s Retail Director, Jenny Blogg, said:
“We’re hugely excited to have our biggest ever jackpot up for grabs – imagine the Christmas that someone could have if they scoop the entire lot! The giant jackpot creates a great talking point and National Lottery retailers could see up to an 81% sales uplift compared with a normal EuroMillions draw. So, it’s well worth asking customers when they’re at the till whether they’d like a Lucky Dip that could potentially be worth £175 million!”
To be in with a chance of bagging the record-breaking Jackpot, Camelot is encouraging players to get their tickets well before the 7.30pm cut-off on Friday night.
Buying and selling National Lottery tickets make a huge difference to National Lottery Good Causes throughout the UK, raising an average of around £30 million per week.
