Smiths News have announced that payment by cheques will no longer be accepted from 11/09/2020.
This follows an internal review on Smiths News processes during COVID-19.
Although the vast majority of Smiths News customers already use direct debit as a method of paying, there are still a few who choose to pay via cheque.
From 11th September you will be able to pay by setting up a direct debit, direct bank payment or card payment by calling Smiths credit control team.
Retailers should begin seeing letters from Smiths with more information about this change very soon.
