The Fed has co-signed a letter to Robbie Moore MP in an attempt to prevent another delay in delivering a DRS in the UK

At the last election, the Government committed to introducing a deposit return scheme, to help put a stop to the 1 million bottles each day which go unrecycled from making their way into the environment, but progress has been slow and all the while plastic has been piling up.

Drinks producers, retailers and environmental groups are calling on the Government not to let its manifesto commitment float away and introduce a deposit return scheme by the end of this parliament.
