Graham Stafford – Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining in July 2022, Graham spent eight years working for The Amazing Media Group as COO, building its Amazing Instore business to be the number one provider of licence free music to UK retailers.
Graham has 40 years’ experience in a variety of leadership and management roles with products and operations. Having started out running his own computer games business in the 1980s, he worked for Sony in the 1990s and then Nokia in the 2000s.
Phil Jaggard – Head of Field Operations
Phil has gained vast experience in retail roles for over 35 years, ranging from sales assistant, store manager and Regional Manager roles, working with smaller Independent retail chains, running his own retail business and with multiple experience gained with One Stop and Nisa Retail where for 16 years he worked with Independent Retailers.
With extensive Retail and Field sales experience, Phil brings a wealth of knowledge with him to the Fed. Joining in 2021 Phil has responsibility for leading the Field Operations team as part of the Senior Leadership team and has shaped the Membership Development Executive role and has seen them achieve a record-breaking year of success in membership growth.
Joanne Elliott – Head of Finance
Joanne joined the Fed as head of finance in September 2022.
Joanne is qualified as a CIMA accountant in 2000 and has enjoyed a career initially working in practice as an auditor and accountant specialising in small business and them in industry.
Connie Koh-Grieve – Head of Marketing
Connie joined the Fed as head marketing in part time in September 2022, before becoming a full time member of staff in December 2022.
Coming from an education marketing background, Connie has worked in various UK universities developing their marketing and student recruitment strategies and campaigns. Before joining the Fed, Connie worked for an international school as the lead on marketing and student admissions, managing marketing and communication strategies to grow student recruitment and retention rates.
Brian Murphy – Head of News and Contact Centre
With significant news and field based experience gained from working in multiple retail groups and in wholesaling, Brian joined the Federation in 2005. He is responsible for overseeing the Field & News Operations and is also tasked with identifying business opportunities for members to earn extra profit on the news category, largely through the Newspro and Store2Door bespoke membership programmes.
Anne Bingham – Head of Communications
Having championed the cause of independent retailers for more than 11 years as editor of the former retail trade magazine CTN, Anne spent seven years working as the Communications Manager for the Association of Newspaper and Magazine Wholesalers and a year as a PR manager for Durex before joining the Federation in 2007.
As Head of Communications, Anne is focused on providing internal and external communications, along with managing the Fed magazine and PR for the Federation.
Adrian Page – Head of Business Development
Adrian joined The Fed in July 2021 as head of business development.
Before that he spent 20 years at Nisa, heading up its Direct to Store business channel where he gained valuable experience within a member owned organisation, supporting independent retailers in the convenience sector.
With a good understanding of delivered wholesale and symbol group business models and how they operate, he brings experience of leading commercial teams and developing strategies to deliver revenue streams and benefits.
