The member making the referral must be a fully paid-up member.
For the referrer member to receive the £25 referral fee, the new member must meet all the following qualifications:
- Use the unique referral link to sign up for the Fed.
- Join the Fed for at least three months and paid all membership fees in full during this period.
- Have not been a member of the Fed at the same business address in the last 12 months.
The payment of the referral fee will be processed three months after the new member has joined the Fed and has paid all their membership fees in full.
A referral fee is only payable to a recruiting member for the referral of full members. No payment will be paid for associate members (legal), retail members and life members.
Referrer members are not employees of the Fed and as such are not authorised to take payments on behalf of the Fed. The new member should make all fee payments directly to the Fed either by completing the payment application form or contacting the Fed on 0207 017 8880.
Due to GDPR, a recruiting member must not hold any personal data on any new member. This data must be posted directly to Fed admin office in Durham.
Cancellation of membership is subject to the Fed Rule 5: (f) Members may withdraw from membership on three months' notice in writing to the Head Office.
